Terms of use

Effective October 26, 2026. TapMango Backup Runner is an internal utility operated by Tyler Cox. It is not a public backup service and does not offer public registration, purchases or subscriptions.

Authorized operation

Use is limited to the operator and any separately approved personnel with permission to access the exact source system and private recovery destination. A Google authorization grant does not authorize source capture, scheduled jobs, website publication, restoration, deletion or additional spending. Those actions require their own approved operational plan.

Operator responsibilities

The operator must protect credentials, keep the encrypted recovery key and its unlock secret in separately controlled locations, monitor job failures and capacity, and test retrieval and restoration on an approved isolated target. A successful upload or synthetic test does not prove production recovery or provide an uninterrupted-service guarantee.

Storage and access

Google’s limited per-file permission can edit and delete app-accessible files even though the current runner does not implement those operations. Google can revoke access or change its limits. The utility must stop when authorization, integrity or capacity checks fail; it must not silently widen permissions, omit data, buy storage or overwrite existing recovery copies.
