TapMango Backup Runner

Private, encrypted recovery copies for an explicitly approved website system.

This utility is operated by Tyler Cox. It prepares encrypted database and media backups and stores them in a private folder in the operator’s Google Drive. It is an internal tool, with no public registration or customer login.

Why it requests Google Drive access

The limited drive.file permission lets the utility create and read its backup files, check their integrity and confirm the account, folder permissions and available space. It does not request access to all Drive files, Gmail or Google Photos.

Google’s permission also permits editing or deleting files used with this app. The current runner implements create and read operations, refuses overwrites and has no delete operation. The credential itself is not provider-enforced append-only access.

Current setup

Only synthetic encrypted test data has been uploaded during qualification. Routine client backups remain disabled pending source, recovery, monitoring and operator approval checks. Authorizing Google access does not activate a backup schedule.
